Youth Lectors Guild

- Coordinator: Marinhess Pecana
The Youth Lectors Guild is a group of young individuals who serve by proclaiming the Word of God during liturgical celebrations, such as Mass. Youth lectors are trained to read from the Bible, particularly the first and second readings, and to lead the congregation in the Responsorial Psalm (when not sung). Their role emphasizes the importance of clear, reverent, and expressive delivery to help the congregation understand and reflect on the Scriptures. Through their ministry, they deepen their own faith, develop public speaking skills, and inspire fellow parishioners, especially other young people, to engage actively in the liturgy. This ministry encourages youth involvement in the Church and fosters a strong sense of community and spiritual growth among its members..
